You can bring food, table and chairs in the lawn area. Or you can rent the table and chairs. Most folks just picnic on the ground. No cooking. I can recommend not driving, take the Metra train. They run special trains and you will get home faster.

Yes you can bring food and cooler. But I recommend not driving take the Metro they do run special trains and If you want take your our chairs and folding table on the train make sure they are easy to carry or you can rent this very cool low to the ground comfy foldable chairs and tables from there and you just go there with your cooler so that is up to you. But please everyone clean up after yourselves and have a great time!!!
You can bring a cooler, and eat and drinkk prior to seating yourself. Store cooler there. Cup can be purchased to drink in Pavilion area.
