The museum is ab solutely free for both children and adults. If you can, there is a little donation box on the way out.

There is also a visitor registration log, so you can sign it and say where you're from :) I brought my 2 year old and he loved it. I think it is only open on Saturdays. Really informative and they have fun stuff for kids. A play fire pole, they can even try on some gear. And yeah, totally free, with a donation box.

I have lived in Michigan and Ohio all my life and never knew about all these free police, firefighter, and Art Museums...Its pretty cool...we haven't went yet but its on our agenda now....
