Take the comforter back to the store, find a manned cash register, and request a refund or exchange. Bring your receipt. Make sure the comforter is clean, unused, and in the original packaging.
Go to the customer service desk. Macy's is usually lenient with returns depending on if you have the receipt, tags,and if the comforter was used.
