It's about a 50/50 split. The lighthouse is indoors except the walkway around the top. The housing and museum is indoors. It's something to see. Veiws from the too are great.
The lighthouse interior is just a staircase. The "lighthouse experience" is outside on the balcony of the lighthouse. There is a museum of sorts in a house that covers the history of the lighthouse
Once you get to the top of the lighthouse you will be outside. The surrounding area at the base of the lighthouse is gardens. Plenty of outside seating, an absolute must see!
It has all been said a must see.
Nothing really more to add other than the view is so beautiful and peaceful. I love to go when it's not crowded I'm a regular this will be my 18th year this summer. We stay at the Navy Lodge since my husband was in the service as a veteran he retired 48 so hopefully we have many more years to go. So many beautiful things to do and we love to dive the best part is under the water
