No, DC law does not permit the sale of liquor in groceries. They do, however, sell wine and beer at the entrance to the store as Joe states. They also have a large deli straight ahead in the back. 9th & P is the nearest liquor store, about a block and a half away.
Yes, the giant has a deli and sells liquor. Both are at the front of the store as you enter the store.
