The city has been asking for years for this store to move due to crime and other issues for this location.
Not sure. Through-the-grape-vine, heard that they were not moving it due to the crime rate, but possibly due to the panhandlers that approach customer. I've been going there since 1997, even worked there for a time. This is not the employees thoughts so much but the States. The Redwood Rd location is one of the stores with the highest sales. Also, they are promoting/advertising, their new location further west.... Personally, I'd be hate pressed to frequent the new location they're presenting. There are a lot of other locations still closer than that.
Because it's a shady side of Redwood Road and the state employees no longer feel safe there.
