Are cakes for birthday's, anniversary's offered? If not, can customers bring their own cakes?

Things must have changed because a couple years ago my family went for my son's birthday and we brought a cake with us.

You cannot bring cakes in but you can order a dessert from them to use for a birthday.

I'm not sure what they offer for birthdays, when I went there the wait staff all came out and were clapping there hands for someone's birthday
