Funny you ask. I had the same question, and the bags had no instructions. I cooked them in boiling water until they floated to the top (about 5 minutes), then sauteed them in a bit of butter until they were lightly browned (about 5 minutes on a side). Hope that helps.

What they said.My family boils them, but we're Ukrainian, so we treat it like verenikas- we make with sour cherries inside, boil then serve cold w sour cream. Yum! For pierogi, serve warm but same thing.fried or boiled - both work.

If you saute them, no need to boil first. If boiling, boil until they float

I do what Ed Murphy does. Boil still they float for a little bit, them saute in butter
