This doesn't sound likely.
We ate there and there were people from all different backgrounds and cultures. Didn't get that feel at all.
Honestly, that sounds extremely unusual, Egg & You is in Wilton Manors, hardly a discriminating area, plus you know the cooks and dishwashers could be from anywhere and everywhere. We're a multicultural city in a multicultural county in a pretty multicultural state, Hispanics are part of our diverse family.
Cant be true. The staff is multicultural themselves. Eat there every day. Never seen anything like this in 62 years!
If they are really, really busy the lady at the front might be a bit snarky (I've seen it since I've eaten there many times). However, I have never seen any sign of making anybody feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. The customer base is always very diverse (racial/economic/appearance, etc.) and everyone gets along just fine.
My husband and I eat in the restaurant a few times and haven't experienced any discrimination once we got a server. However, the bit about the unwelcome feeling from the clerk, I can attest to. I hope you said something to management.
I've been there many times and have never seen any sign of discrimination by the staff.
I can't see that being the case at all. They must have just had a bad day. Give them another chance.
We were there as a tourist. They were friendly
That doesn't sound right.
