They do hire Felons. Depending on your skills will depend on your opportunities. They just want people who are going to show up everyday. I've heard its not a great place to work, but I have friends who work there and love it.
Depends on what race you are! I was up front with HR about my 2002 felony record, my first & last time incarcerated. I was hired & employed for 5 days!!! I recieved a phone call from HR on my day off & was told my background was not acceptable for the company! I found it odd that I've been in food Manufacturing for 15 years & have worked for some of the largest companies in the world, and I've never been turned down for a position do to my background. I was also dumbfounded due to meeting a man during my 5 day stay at Skinner Bakery who was employed by the company while currently on the state work releases program finishing up an 11 year prison sentence! I did 302 days in county jail back in 2002.......20 years ago! Buy this man was Hispanic.
