If you carry a plan that we are currently non-par with you have the the option of obtaining a referral and and out of network authorization if you insurance allows. There may be higher put of pocket cost to you if that is the case. If you dont have put of network benefits then you have the option of not using your insurance as sometimes that is cheaper than your out of network out of pocket. I have bern accepting out of network assignment from the non-par insurances for the simple fact that some plans are not extending new contracts in this area. Health First Health plans, Medicare, BCBS, UHC. He accepts most insurances. I'm not sure if he takes Medicaid or MMA plans though.
