Very cool cozy place that looks like a local diner but is actually a chain! They have all of granny's specialties like meatloaf, fried chicken and sweet tea. They also have a wonder (ie: cheap) happy hour. The service was better than most diners and the food was good. However, we had a few issues caused by an inexperienced cook and the Manager came and apologized, then offered to remake my food herself. It was dry and overcooked, but still edible with the additional of some olive oíl. So no biggie. If you go to their website/fb page, you can get a 40% Off Code! Enjoy.

It was our first time dining at the Metro Diner, I ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli. My husband ordered fried chicken, french fries and coleslaw. I ate all of my food, my husband is a critic so he complained about how salty the chicken was and how the chicken & french fries was cooked to fast. I had no complaints until the next morning, I was having symptoms of food poisoning and my husband had the same symptoms 2 days later. Overall experience was ok but I won’t be eating here anymore. Absolutely amazing! Everything we had was GREAT! From the sirloin tips to the kids tenders to the breakfast! Their mango tea, soooo good. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area.
