Is the battleship handicapped accessible? I am planning a trip to the battleship the last of September. But I am confined to a wheelchair. Will I be able to tour the Battleship? Thank you, Sincerely, Edith Williams

Steep Ramp heading abord, will be limited to main deck. But a SECU memorial walkway is in construction currently and when finished will allow you to see more of the ships hull

You can go out on the main deck. The sights are still well worth the visit and time. The stairs below deck are very small and curved. I absolutely do not see how the young men ran up and down them so fast. Took me forever to climb them. But the guns are on the top deck and visiting center. Please do go see the ship. You will not regret it my grandfather was a riveter for ships in Wilmington during the War. The town is historically wonderful to tour downtown also

No, not wheelchair unfriendly

Your tour will be limited to the main deck and gift shop, so if you didn't have to drive very far, it would defiantly be worth it.

Unfortunately you would only be able to go onto the deck. There are very tiny stairs that go throught the ship as well as raised edge doorways.

You should be able to get to the main deck but won't be able to get above or below decks.
