I’m a 100% disabled veteran, who suffers from PTSD. I am on a fixed income, and unfortunately can not afford the adoption fees. I am interested in adopting one of the dogs listed on your website. Is there any financial help to assist me.

Did you ever find one? I am a veteran who also suffers from PTSD. I am not on a fixed income and I will buy you the perfect one. 4 tours in 5 years, I saved money and will gladly get you what you need. My baby is from Washington state, she saves me everyday.

Seriously, you should contact Susquehanna service dogs and ask about being matched with a trained dog that can identify and respond to your needs... And accompany you everywhere as a qualified service dog... There is a cost but there are also sponsors who have covered the cost for veterans. And these dogs are trained specifically to identify and respond to your needs. An adopted dog is lovely but you might not get what you bargained for.
