Yes. My dog loves the arboretum. However, keep in mind the city of Chesapeake may enforce their laws requiring dogs to be on leash at all times when off of your property. Have a fantastic time!
The printed rules for the Arboretum says all dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

Yes. My dogs love going but just be sure to keep them on the marked paths and up to date on tick medication. We found a tick on one of are dogs after walking (but it was the season soo 🤷)
