It's better to place an order in store...becsuse they have a lot of different designs. And it doesn't even have to be a week before...even one day ahead you place an order, they will do it.
When you normally order a sheet cake from Costco in the store (at the bakery section), you fill out a form, provider your name, phone number and member number, and turn it in to the bakery. Check with your local Costco and awesome if they will accept the form by fax... Many locations will. If they OK this, get the fax number from them. Google the web for Costco Cake Order Form. Download and print this, fill it out and fax it in.
