The carts require a $0.25 deposit to use. The store does sell 2 or 3 types of grocerie bags for about $0.10 to $0.20 each. It's best to bring your own reusable bags if possible.
Walked in with no plans on taking cart outside just to put it back for future customers mind you .had walked there in the first place. Cart was empty .She started filling cart I said. Hey this is not my stuff. She replied this is my cart. Well no its not .The people behind me have there cart that the brought with them were kind enough to let me go ahead of them. I carried all my food to the check out myself . Strange behavior
Everything Jason said, with the addition of you can take boxes for free, boxes product comes in that is
I believe you can purchase them but not positive. You can get boxes, though. You must have a quarter to unchain a cart. When you are finished you chain it back up and you get your quarter back. So it is free. This just ensures tjey are put back where they belong.
Ditto to what Jason says.
Bags are sold there, not given away. YES, shopping carts require a quarter deposit.
I agree with the others. Great prices, but some items you have to compare.
they also have used grocery boxes you can use for free, just like at Costco.
You can buy paper bags there for 7 cents a piece. My wife and slowly stocked up on the nice fabic bags and use those when we go now, no need to buy bags anymore. You do need a quarter to get a cart but if you return the cart you get your quarter back.
