Would like to know why we have to wait until July 18th for service on our air contion, which did not work on the hottest days of the year. It was just installed in January and we are very unhappy.

Go outside and open the AC disconnect and see if it is in the OFF position. It looks like a Grey box on the side of the house and you will see a Grey "tube" coming out of it into the AC. If it's off, pull out the disconnect, flip it then push it back in. Also, check to make sure the circuit breaker is on.
