In our 9 year history, that was the first snake seen in the facility. Our lifeguards handled the situation very well, removing the snake and relocating it away from the facility in the wild. I would expect the same should Mother Nature do the same in the future.
The last thing I would worry about there would be a snake.

It's possible, but not very likely as snakes are sensitive to vibrations and a busy water park would be like a heavily trodden watering hole. A snake doesn't go looking for a fight, if something is likely to beat or kill it, it will avoid that area.
