There is a $10 parking fee. But they stop charging around 5pn. The NYS usually stop charging around Sept 18 for rest of year. Look into getting an NYS Empire Pass for the state parks and beaches. It is $85 a year and is unlimited use for all NYS parks. The a Pass is usually on sale in December for $65. It is also available as an App.
