I don't know why anyone would say noni's at lunch time isn't family friendly. It's a great environment for families or just people with kids in general. In fact I just had lunch at Noni's with a friend and her 2 month old daughter a couple weeks ago and it was an enjoyable experience.

Lunch - sure! It’s usually pretty empty during the day... especially on weekdays. I would think it would be fine on the weekend too - but very crowded. You can always sit outside in the patio area. I bring my dog! :)
Ive actually had a lovely time sitting next to large families with spanning all ages. Lunch is definitely best and they have a great patio too.
