Since our location in Lancaster County, PA may require a bit of travel for some visitors, we have found that the Holiday visitation on weekends this time of year is higher on weekends than during the week. Since the effort to run all of our trains and provide staff can be costly, we match the hours to the attendance patterns. In addition, running all of our trains incurs the need for maintenance so that we can keep them in best performance for when the crowds come. We appreciate your interest.”
