As a restaurant manager on IRB , most places will take a small number of reservations for parties of 6 our more. I dont know anyone that does call ahead seating since covid started. As most of us are still spacing our tables apart and seating is limited, reservations just dont make sense on the beach. If we take a reservation and hold those tables and they dont show, thats hours of lost revenue that we cannot afford, and it happens all the time. Believe me , local restaurants want your business. We are all still struggling and are just not in the right place yet to take reservations. Hopefully we will all be back to normal operations soon and will be more than happy to take your reservation or call ahead seating. Thank you all for your understanding and we all look forward to serving you soon.
It's first come first serve you sign in with the hostess.
They take reservations after you get with the maitre'd.
We tried calling ahead and was told we were not able to do call a head searing or reservations.
We had to wait in a line out back to get a table outside.
They weren't as far as I know
