Winter is female!!!
I have seen Winter all 3 times I have gone.
We seen them both. Even got some good pics

Because the animals are living things, not stuffed displays. They all (including Winter) have places in their habitats where they can go if they need some "alone time".
They had 4 dolphins when I visited two days ago, including winter
We saw both the day we went. They were actually doing therapy with Hope. Winter was out for a bit. We went downstairs underneath the "pool" area afterwards and watched both of them swimming around together. They don't do shows with those 2, like with other dolphins, but if you are there during the therapy times you are more than welcome to watch. It was interesting. I hope this helps.
With the new expansion you can see winter and all the dolphins all the time. The new expansion and pools are wonderful. You will not be disappointed when you come to visit.

I dont know the answer but both times I have been there we seen both Winter and Hope. Maybe he was sick. Sorry.
