The ladies that run The Blue Wave are the absolute best and make your time at their place unforgettable. We were in the Tommy Bahama room and it was absolutely perfect for our girls trip with a full kitchen, dining room, living room and seperate bedroom. The unit stayed cool and comfortable and was clean and well kept. We all slept well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved that they supplied beach umbrellas and chairs, wagons, floaties, even coolers at no extra cost. They truly want you to have a wonderful vaction and do their best to make sure you do! Lastly the location was spot on! Your off the main drag away from the hustle and bustle but so close to it all that its literally the next road up to get to the action. The road that the Blue wave sits on is also a beach access road just two cross walks away from the beautiful white sands. We are already looking forward to our next visit ❤️

Friendliest staff. Very personable. Very clean rooms, cool AC, and comfy bed with a nice shower, and with an unbeatable location. We didn’t even rent a car, able to walk to everything and anything. Short walk to the beach and bay. She has beach chairs, coolers, ice, towels, anything you may need, just bring yourself!! Would definitely stay again!!

We are repeat customers and there is a reason for that! We have everything we need and more. Gayle and Kathy are terrific hosts and want to make sure we were content. It’s the best place for amenities, location and staff ! Clean room, towels, ice, coolers, beach towels... the list is a plenty. Just book the flight and pick up your groceries or go to any of the nearby restaurants.

Our 2 night stay in suite #9 was in October 2021. Check in was friendly and fast. Room was quaint and clean. Was nice to have amenities such as a full kitchen and separate bedroom. No ice machine on property and only one ice tray provided in freezer. For us bed was small and uncomfortable with extremely flat inexpensive pillows. Tossed and turned and never did sleep well. Bathroom was decent but toilet seat was loose and wanted to come off when lifted. Toilet would only flush every 2nd or 3rd time but got used to that. Water pressure was nice and plenty of hot water but be sure to bring shampoo and soap, the soap offered dries your skin out and no shampoo. Of course this is all our opinions. Living room furniture was very low and uncomfortable for us tall guys. Location was great and walking distance to many great restaurants and Pier 60. Was a nice change not to pay for parking. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys offered to guests so that's a bonus. I think for the price we paid we did not find it a value or would stay again.
