That is ridiculous. I've been there plenty of times, with minority friends and no one, not even other customers, were ever rude.
Marc, we are a business to make money. We do not discriminate against any race or gender. We even employ a very beautiful minority bartender. We strive to provide a fun safe friendly karaoke environment. That being said if someone is rude to customers and or staff you will get a warning, if it keeps up they are asked to leave (don't matter what the skin color is). So try us out for yourself, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
I'm white so take my experience with a grain of salt. I've never noticed anything that approaches racist behavior, but I'm also not really looking for it. With that being said, I've never been super impressed by the staff. They're kind of dismissive in general and seem like they wish they were at a different bar as if they resent the karaoke and the crowd itself. It's not big enough of an issue for me to take into consideration just yet, but I'm going to keep an extra eye out thanks to this question.
