Let me tell you something Doreen. First off my mother is not "older" she is only 52 years old. Probably younger then you. She has pipes for veins and doesn't drink coffee. As a matter of fact I walk in their shoes everyday being a phlebotomist myself. I work with cancer patients and I know how to draw blood from veins the size of hair. As far as saying it to their face, not only will I say it to them, which I have, I will say it to your face. If you don't like my honestly, that's your problem not mine.
Yes
To Sara Miller , your mom is older , she has hair like veins -really darlin that tiny...plus meds could also make fining them worse . While if your mom is low on fluid or had coffee which is a diuretic...again making veins tiny ... have you ever heard the saying" walk a step in anothers shoes ,to understand how hard there job is" I don't think you do , instead you place rude comments on the web site which you would have never said to a phebotomists face
