Bounce is better for that age
They do make harnesses for 3 year olds. Black diamond makes a smaller full body harness. Oh and my kids been climbing since he was three. All you have to do is not push them and respect their fear and theyll slowly achieve their own climbing goals.
I don't think a 3 year old is capable of safely climbing the bouldering area, and I don't think that there exists a climbing harness for that age, could be wrong though.
3 yrs old is a bit young for rock climbing. Not sure they would have the appropriate harness small enough for a 3 yr old
