It's been taken down for a year. They took it down as soon as they got the complaint. The bathroom was also decorated like that for 3 years until someone complained. They decorated it like that because house of yes is an all inclusive space and there are themes from many different cultures in the space. Ultimately she was not offended by the depictions but because she felt cleanliness is important in her culture and the bathroom didn't represent that. I agree a bathroom is not clean but I also don't feel they decorated that way to be purposely disrespectful.
If someone doesn't know about something ,someone shouldn't do that....and it's not a big thing you won't put Jesus Christ picture there so you shouldn't put our God's picture there as well ...God is one everyone pictures them differently...and I get that they did it because they have no idea about who they are..and what is the correct place to put them...i wish it never happens again...
