Such a great place. Unlike other clubs you can actually have intelligent conversations with people and staff here. Ive received warmth from this venue last few times that I've been and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice atmosphere filled with fun people and art.

They have a good mix of music with a variety of DJ's. This place is open to people of all races and gender and has a real community vibe to encourage anyone to come and enjoy.
They don't have pool tables or a swimming pool. Feel free to use all the metaphors you like though!
There is usually a combination of both. HOY has seating indoor and outdoor at all times. It's jus the number of seats and the likelihood you're going to WANT to sit that vary. The place, most of the time, will keep even your great grandmother dancing.

No, there is no billiards here. It's more of a dance Hall that gets converted to a performance space. Around the corner though is a dive bar with a pool table.

No tables that I know of - not on the nights I go! Get to know the Bartenders. It's a GREAT place to celebrate a birthday, but there might not be table reservation - that means saying NO to people that wanna sit!!!

It's been taken down for a year. They took it down as soon as they got the complaint. The bathroom was also decorated like that for 3 years until someone complained. They decorated it like that because house of yes is an all inclusive space and there are themes from many different cultures in the space. Ultimately she was not offended by the depictions but because she felt cleanliness is important in her culture and the bathroom didn't represent that. I agree a bathroom is not clean but I also don't feel they decorated that way to be purposely disrespectful.

Depends on the show and the night. We went to dirty circus and booked our tickets the night before, but it was pretty much a full house so I'd book them a day or two I'm advance, minimum
