Ben Platt is leaving November 21, and Noah Galvin is temporarily taking lead through January 2018 when Taylor Trensch will take over. If you're asking what days Ben Platt has his understudy take over, it's not known.
The question is not really so clear as to warrant a good answer. All i can say is that i bought the evan hanson tickets with the belief i would see the lead actor. He wasnt there. The understudy was really good and the show was top notch.
DEH and Hello Dolly currently have alternate performer doing title role...not that uncommon for demanding vocal parts. Don't let it deter you from seeing the show...in my opinion Donna Murphy was a better Dolly than Bette.
