Hi Janet! Food scrap drop-off is not operating at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket at this time. Please visit grownyc.org/compost for a list of open sites.

Alternatively there is a compost drop-off on Sundays at the Vinegar Hill Community Garden on York/Gold, between 11.30 am and 2 pm.

You can drop off your composting at the Green market near fort Greene Park also known as Washington Park

I don't think that green market is currently doing compost collection but the one in Carroll Gardens on Sunday morning does. But check before you go.
