Is an appointment necessary to obtain a Georgia ID, or do you just come in during office hours with documentation required, and apply for the ID?

Due to covid19 you must have an appointment. I called 2 days ago and all the offices are only seen customers by appointments only. I made an appointment and they will give you a number that you will have present to them or you will not be seen. I hope this was helpful. Thanks
