As someone who works in a different Wal-Mart, we suggest you come look for yourself, I don't say that to be mean, it's just the new way they are doing schedule set-ups. The problem is they wrote the idea out on paper and didn't test it in a store before implementing it. So chances are there was no one actually scheduled for that department that day or the single person (out of 4) called off and the others all had plans made and couldn't come in to cover. Also, don't assume the person who works at the Fitting Room (which is the first person you talk to after calling) will know anything about another department. You aren't cross trained and just because we work there, doesn't mean we know what each department has or doesn't have.
Check for it online and if they don't have itbin stock order and have it shipped there or to your home. I just avoid yhe phone all together...too much waiting and much too slow. I know i hated answering the phone when I worked with the public.
