As I have learned from a tour guide since I asked.....after the public leaves and the cemetery is closed they still do the changing of the gaurd ceremony every hour. Then at 8am they go back to every half an hour once the cemetery reopens. But they do the ceremony 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They continue to do the ceremony in any and all weather conditions as well. They were marching in the rain while we were there today.

GodlyGamer Guy- you are correct. 24 hrs a day- in the heat or in the freezing cold, they stand at attention. Quite a ceremony. My fifth great grandfather is buried there from the Revolutionary War - reinterred there 65 years ago.

If you mean the Changing of the Guard, it is done ever hour I believe. You can find the exact time allotment on the Arlington website. If you simply want to see the 21 second, 21 pace drill movements, that happens the entire time aside from Changing the Guard.
