Bring them back, they should work with you on faulty cartridges, they happen.
loosen the carts a bit. some carts have a bad connection(you will get a blinking light when trying to hit it) with the battery. if u loosen it a bit, it should work
Gold Leaf would most likely work with you if bought legally. If bought from third party you're definitely out of luck
You can try to contact the retailer and see about an exchange but I doubt it will happen. Most places have a no return policy.
