I wonder if serving brown salad is normal and then when brought to attention the manager is busy. Then proceed to be laughed at by the staff ummm not cool.

I would ask for the SM or DM's #. That isn't appropriate behavior on their part. Not fair to you, report them! As a Store Manager I would want to be made aware of that service or lack there of.
