If the money is supposed to be transferred from your checking account to your Christmas Savings Club and there is not enough in your checking account to do so, then no- it will not come out of your savings.
If both accounts are linked. If they are not whatever the over draft amount taken out you can payback within 24 hours before you are charged. You should be ok. Also you should be able to deposit it back in the ATM as well
