B&O 5000 and 5500 CD player which doesn't seem to work. Do you repair and can you advise to make sure I'm setting up properly

These guys are pretty knowledgeable in ALL audio components. I'm sure they can answer your questions. They do charge for "put equipment on their bench", i.e. to diagnose it, but it'll usually come off the total cost. Give 'em call.
