An ear infection is not a reason to take an animal to an emergency hospital,call your regular vet!
What you are experiencing now is not their normal performance. COVID has them in a weird lockdown. As stated by another user, if you have an emergency you can walk right in the front doors. Pets with an appointment are greeted at your car by an associate that brings you in through a different entrance.
No call necessary ... you can go straight to the emergency room. Open 24 hours. They will take you right in ... excellent attention and care. I highly recommend them.
