There is no need to make reservations to visit the Washington's Headquarters Museum--you can view the three exhibit areas and video on your own. The museum (30 Washington Place, Morristown NJ) is currently open Friday--Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. Free tour tickets to visit the Ford Mansion (the home General Washington' headquartered) are distributed at the information desk at the entrance to the Washington's Headquarters Museum--the museum is also the location where the tours begin. The tours take place at 11 AM, 1, 2 and 3 PM and are limited to ten visitors per tour. Tour tickets cannot be reserved, and the tickets are distributed first come first served. That is, once the tour tickets are distributed for the 10 AM tour, then tickets are distributed for the next tour. For more information, see the park web site www.nps.gov/morr or call the park at 973 539 2016
Its free and you can go inside the museum but call ahead for the tour times
