Does the corporation owning the marina offer any type of incidental boat renter/operator's insurance? My car insurance agent told me this morning that neither my car insurance nor any other policy he offered covered a rented boat. Response?

Yes you can get rental insurance.

Never heard of it if they do. I'm sure the marinas boats are covered under their own policy. Now will they charge you if you damage their prop? Absolutely they will. In a total loss situation I'm not sure how they would handle it. Certainly you can give them a call and ask. They are good people.
