I just purchased a stone top table with a mesquite wood base for my patio Do I need to treat or seal the mesquite wood to prolong life/protect it from elements?

Hi Vickie, you'll definitely want to protect raw wood, but I would hope whoever built the table would have already applied a finish.

If the wood is raw I would suggest something to protect it.
