After you finish paying off the loan, how long does it take for them to mail the title back to you?

Typically if you pay a loan off in cash it should take 7 to 10 days for the title to go out to you. If you pay off the loan by cashier's check, the wait would be 14 days for the cashier's check to clear, and then another 7 to 10 days for the title to go out to you. For an additional charge of $20, we can do an "expedited release" through the DVM. With an expedited release, you can pickup a title immediately from a 3rd party DMV. If you are in a rush to have the title back, you can call in to check the status after 10 days, but typically I would give it 14 days to allow for delays.
