What's good about this place? Anything? A restaurant that's open only 5 evenings a week seems to me like a restaurant that decided it failed at life & gave up.

Syd's is one of the best restaurants in Erie, PA... They can be open whenever they want and will always be busy... They're that good!

It's always busy. They are established in the community, not a new start-up. During day they run Avantis for breakfast & lunch
