This place has it all! Great service, great food, wonderful atmosphere. I've frequented this establishment for over 8 years now. One thing about The Pittsburgh Inn that always makes me feel at home, is the way the staff talks to my 4 year old son. Also, the consistency. The food is always fresh, and made with the same ingredients/love as your last visit. In my opinion, they run the best local restaurant in Erie.

We're from out of town and found the place online, with plans to get some local seafood or steak. Drove up from Meadville. Pleasantly surprised at the family atmosphere, with true warmth and comfort. French onion soup was good, crab cakes were even better, some of the best I've had. Decided on the perch, got it fried based on server's recommendation - it was very good. Home fries with pepper and onion are also great. If I lived in the area I'd definitely be back.

I got the deep fried seafood platter, seafood bisque, and carrot cake. The fried cod was fresh and very tasty. My husband got today's special, fish and chips, and homemade apple pie. Very friendly owner, not just typical bar food. Also a variety of innovative cocktails.
