They will not let you take more than 3 oz of water or any liquid through security. You will need to buy more between security and your gate.
Just flew..had no issues with meds..and as stayed above you must purchase drinks after the check point..
I think they have to be in bottles or some kind of container. You would need to buy the water after going through security. As long as you buy it after security you xn absolutely have water on the plane. I take my medication in one of those pill minders, and theres never been a problem.
