A photo ID is required, but it does not have to be a driver's license. Mr. Smith's comment about a loaner is partially correct. We no longer allow someone else to get the loaner for you. Only the customer can be contracted into a loaner vehicle while their's is being serviced, and that requires a valid TX Driver's License, and a STANDARD liability insurance in your name. Insurance is NOT required to purchase your vehicle.
No you don't. But if your car requires service, someone with a valid license and insurance will have to be the one that gets the loaner car for you.
