We filed a Amended Tax Return for 2019 on Feb. 28, 2021 and so far we have not received a check. How long will we have to wait or do we need to make an appointment with the local irs office?

Appointment only. Easy to do. If you walk up there they'll give you a # so you can call and make your appointment. Better to walk up and get the number from them. I called the State IRS number and they set me up 2 mths down the line

Yes make an appointment they do not take walk ins.
