Hi Stephen, I'm so sorry you had this experience. We do have items on sale everyday of the week and we offer multiple discounts on each day of the week. We do have some 'new with tag' items that are above $10 but our regular t-shirts & blue jeans are $4 - $6 each. We hope you'll come shop again to find some great deals!
First of all, I'm retirement aged on social security and have very little money. If it's not on sale, used, or coupon shopping, I can't afford it. But in response to a recent negative review, I'd say that the person must have looked only at the new clothing rack. Mission Thrift is filled with bargains on top quality gently used clothing. I shop there several times a week as well as Goodwill stores. This store typically has better quality clothing perhaps due to the generous donations from the well off Country Club residents. Mission Thrift has Flat screen TV's usually between $30 and $50, housewares/furniture always affordable. In all the visits (numbering at least 50); I've never witnessed any store employee being remotely rude to any customer. On the contrary, I've experienced only helpful and kind respectful employees when I've been there. Tuesdays a Senior Discount applies and they always give a Military Veteran Discount. They often have a colored tag sale 50 to 75% off.
